The 2006 racing season promises to be a great one with strong fleet commitment to local racing and the usual compliment of district regattas.  The posted schedule includes all Lightning racing scheduled at CCYC and throughout the Midwest District with selected additional regattas from neighboring districts.

   Sundays: 11:55 Warning ( 1st of 3 Races ) / Approximately 4 hours on the water 

Fleet Championship results are scored using the USSA Low Point Averaged Scoring System for races scheduled May through September.  Every year since 1947, the Fleet 5 champion has been awarded the Hildegard Trophy.  The summer racing schedule culminates with Fleet 5's highlight event, the Red Flannels Regatta.  This regatta typically draws over 30 boats from around the midwest for unequaled regional racing!
