The 2024 Great Lakes Championship is a ILCA-NA Grand Prix scored event. the ILCA Dinghy is widely viewed as the most successful single-handed dinghy ever made! Uniquely catering to a range of sailor sizes, the boat can be sailed with 3 different sized rigs.The smallest rig is the ILCA 4 (4.7), the middle sized rig and the Women‘s Olympic Class Dinghy, is called the ILCA 6 (Radial), or the Men‘s Olympic Class Dinghy, the ILCA 7 (Full Rig). The ILCA Dinghy is actively sailed and raced by athletes of all sizes, ages (14-95) and experience levels.

The monthly meeting of Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club is called for in our bylaws and designed to provide transparency to the members on the deliberation of the club and to give members a public forum to express their opinions. Bylaws Section 5.01 states "Regular Meetings of the Club shall be held on the third Thursday of each month, or on such other date as may be directed by the Board, at the time and place designed by the Commodore and the Secretary. The presence of 30 Regular Members shall constitute a quorum at any meeting.
